Third Annual Westmont Chistmas Festival

Get into the Christmas spirit early this year at Westmont’s Third Annual Christmas Festival. The free program will feature traditional and contemporary holiday music performed by Westmont’s Chamber Orchestra and multiple choirs, as well as dance, dramatic readings and visual art.
Choose from three performances at First United Methodist Church, 305 East Anapamu at Garden Street: Friday, Nov. 30, and Saturday, Dec. 1, at 8 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 2, at 3 p.m.
The audience will join in singing a series of traditional carols. Other musical highlights will include the Christmas Oratorio “Jauchzet Frohlocket” by Johann Sebastian Bach, “Verbum caro factum est” by Hans Leo Hassler, and “The Heavens Are Telling” from Franz Joseph Haydn’s “The Creation.”
